No visa required. Free entry with passport or ID card. EHIC medical insurance (European Health Insurance Card) covers emergency care, but not planned treatment.

Citizens of RF and CIS Countries

Schengen visa (type C) - for trips up to 90 days. Medical visa - if treatment requires longer stay. Application at German embassy/consulate. Processing time: 10-15 working days. We provide clinic invitation to expedite the process.

Citizens of Arab Countries

UAE: visa-free entry up to 90 days. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman: Schengen visa. We provide invitation and medical justification in English and German.

Citizens of Turkey

Regular passport: Schengen visa. Service and diplomatic passport: visa-free entry up to 90 days.

From the Clinic (provided by us)

Treatment invitation (Einladung zur Behandlung). Preliminary treatment plan with dates. Cost estimate (Kostenvoranschlag). In German with clinic seal.

From the Patient

Passport (valid at least 3 months after return). Completed visa application form. Photo 3.5x4.5 cm. Medical insurance (coverage from 30,000 EUR). Proof of financial means (bank statement). Hotel booking. Flight booking.

Urgent Visa

With medical justification of urgency, expedited processing possible (3-5 working days). We provide a letter of medical necessity.

Planning the trip

Day 1: Arrival + Consultation

Arrival in Munich (MUC airport). Transfer to hotel. In the afternoon (or next morning) - clinic consultation: examination, MRI review, treatment plan.

Day 2: Procedure

Morning - regenerative procedure (30-60 min). Post-procedure - 30 min observation in clinic. Return to hotel. Rest, ice, paracetamol if needed.

Day 3: Follow-up

Follow-up examination in clinic. Follow-up ultrasound. Rehabilitation recommendations. Answers to questions. Free time - walk in Munich (walking is beneficial).

Day 4: Departure

Departure home. Flight after regenerative treatment is safe from day 2. Aisle seat recommended to stand and walk.

Flight

Munich Airport (MUC) - one of Europe's largest hubs. Direct flights from Moscow, Istanbul, Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Beijing, Shanghai. Flight time: 2-6 hours.

Accommodation

Recommended hotels near clinic (Schwabing/Bogenhausen). 3-5 stars. Average cost: 100-250 EUR/night. Assist with booking if needed.

Transfer

Airport - hotel: taxi (70-90 EUR), S-Bahn (12 EUR). Hotel - clinic: taxi (10-20 EUR), public transport. Transfer organized upon request.

Language

A clinic specialist speaks German, English, and Russian. For Arabic and Chinese - interpreter arranged.

Questions about the trip

Is a visa required?

EU citizens - no. Russia, CIS, most Arab countries - yes (Schengen). UAE - visa-free. We provide an invitation from the clinic.

How many days are needed in München?

Minimum 3-4 days. Optimal 5-7 days for comfortable recovery and city sightseeing.

Is it possible to fly immediately after the procedure?

Yes, flying is safe from the 2nd day. We recommend an aisle seat and periodic standing. Better to wait 1-2 days after the procedure.

Is an accompanying person needed?

Not mandatory, but desirable for comfort. The procedure is outpatient; afterward, you can move independently.
