What is MFAT

MFAT — patented technology for processing the patient's adipose tissue. From a small amount of fat (20-40 ml, harvested through a micro-puncture), microfragmented tissue enriched with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and pericytes is obtained.

Unlike classical lipofilling, MFAT preserves the stem cell niche — extracellular matrix, vascular compartment, and pericytes. This ensures:

  • 80-90% graft survival (vs 30-50% with standard lipofilling)
  • Regenerative effect — MSCs release growth factors that improve skin quality
  • Lasting volume — engrafted tissue remains permanently (2-5 years accounting for aging)

Areas of application

Face

  • Nasolabial folds
  • Cheekbones — restoration of age-related volume loss
  • Dark circles and hollows under the eyes
  • Lower jawline contour
  • Temples — correction of hollowing
  • Lips — natural augmentation

Other areas

  • Hands — restoration of lost volume
  • Neck and décolletage — improvement of texture
  • Scars — filling atrophic defects
  • Area around implants — contour correction

Regenerative method Advantages

A broad range of indications

Regenerative methods are used for many orthopaedic and spinal conditions. Some cases still call for surgery.

No anesthesia or incisions

Outpatient treatment via 0.3-1.5 mm puncture. No general anesthesia or hospitalization.

No age restrictions

Regeneration at any age. Safe for chronic conditions and anesthesia intolerance.

Rapid improvement

Concentrates have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Relief within days.

Multiple zones at once

Simultaneous treatment of multiple discs or joints in one procedure.

Home the same day

No crutches, braces or rehabilitation needed. MRI follow-up at 8-16 weeks.

Regenerative treatment Technology

Navigation system for minimally invasive access

Navigation system

Intraoperative robotic navigation system. Provides precise access to deep structures with 1 mm and 1 degree accuracy.

Ultrasound guidance during the procedure

Ultrasound guidance

Device for intervention under sonographic control. Eliminates open surgeries with real-time visual monitoring.

Frequently Asked Questions about MFAT

Where is the fat taken from for MFAT?
Fat is harvested through a micropuncture (2 mm) from the abdominal or thigh area under local anesthesia. Only 20-40 ml is needed — this is a minimal volume available even in very slim patients. The procedure is painless.
How long does the result last?
The engrafted adipose tissue remains permanently and ages along with you. The practical effect lasts 2-5 years. After that, a minor correction may be needed due to the natural aging process.
What is the recovery period?
Swelling and minor bruising at the injection sites — 3-7 days. Return to work is possible after 2-3 days. The final result is visible after 2-3 months, when the tissue has fully engrafted and stem cells have initiated regeneration.
